Protocols

Upon joining our Lyceum,you will receive by postal mail:

• Assignment of your personal Path-Guide
• Invitation to join the various Lyceum Email lists
• A Guidebook for the Crossroads Lyceum and Fellowship of Isis
• A subscription and copy of the Crossroads Torchlight newsletter
• A discount on all FOI booklets and CDs published by FOI-Crossroads Media (not required for study)
• A Crossroads Lyceum Seal for attunement
• A Fellowship of Isis Membership Certificate (for new FOI members)
• The first Path in the program - the Path of Self

Each of our Paths includes:

• Three Courses
• Fellowship ritual (adapted for solitary use)
• All Supplemental Materials necessary to complete the Path (Path introduction, bibliography, ritual instructions, bonus sheets)
• Certificate of Completion & Confirmation of Level/Degree (available after all three courses are successfully completed and ritual is performed)

Course protocol:
        This is a self-directed course of study developed to provide a deeper connection between the member and the Goddess. The three courses in each Path include information in the subject matter as well as exercises, assignments and meditations for the student to perform in order to learn in an experiential manner. Lyceum Path Guides provide any necessary guidance upon request.

        When all three courses in the Path are complete, the student submits their course answers to our Lyceum for review. A Certificate of Completion and the final ritual is then sent. Initiate Level and Magi Degree confirmations are bestowed as they are attained.

Time of Completion:
        Estimated time of completion for each Path is approximately 4 months. (3 months study of coursework, 1 month ritual)  However, there is no set schedule to follow. Each member sets their own timetable based upon their individual needs and may take as long as they require.

Study Groups:
        The curriculum of our Lyceum is written as a self-directed course of study. As such, it does not lend itself well for study groups. We feel walking the path of the Goddess is a very personal process and each person has their own timetable for this. When studying our courses, many times the Goddess will contribute Her own "life lessons" along the way, and these are also very individualized. If the courses were to be studied with others, this personal timetable would no longer be honored, and an artificial one would be imposed on all involved. For this reason, we ask that our students study the coursework by themselves.

Additional information:
        Each Path is self-contained and there are no further materials to purchase to participate fully in our Lyceum. We do publish various manuals for the Fellowship of Isis of which our Lyceum members receive a discount. These booklets are not required for Lyceum Path study, and are made available as a courtesy to those who wish to learn further about the Fellowship of Isis.
