Scholarship Program

       We usually have a minimum of a 6-12 month waiting list for an opening in our scholarship program. If you wish to be placed on our waiting list, here is what we ask:

       There is such a high demand for these openings that we first ask you to seriously consider whether you qualify for a scholarship or not. There is a limited number of openings available, so we try to provide our scholarships to those who are not able to take our courses any other way. If you can put aside $20 a month for the next four months, we ask that you do not take away a scholarship from someone who does not have the resources to do this. Instead, save up for the coursework as you would anything else special in your life and apply as a regular student. Like many good things, some are worth saving for!

       If you do qualify for a scholarship, please know that we have some requirements. Instead of paying Path tuition, our scholarship students are asked to donate a certain amount of their time to a non-profit organization. The choice of charity is left up to the scholarship member. Also, our monthly membership fee is still a requirement for all of our members; a scholarship covers Path tuition only.

       If you are in agreement with these terms and wish to be placed on our waiting list for a scholarship, please send the following to us through postal mail (applications are not accepted through email). All information is kept in strict confidence.

1) A letter requesting to be placed on our scholarship waiting list, including the reasons why you qualify.
2) Your personal essay - as outlined on our Enrollment page.
3) A completed Lyceum application.
4) Do not send any money for membership fees at this time.

        If your application is approved, we will then place you on our scholarship waiting list. When there is an opening in our scholarship program, we will email you with further details. Also, if you have any circumstances in your life that would prevent you from donating your time to a volunteer organization, please let us know so we can work out an alternate arrangement.
